The mission of the SCS library is to encourage students to become lifelong readers and learners. It is also to help students to develop an appreciation of literature and to become digital citizens who are able to access and use information efficiently.

Meet your librarian!
Welcome to the SCS Library! I am Ms. Angela Mullins, your librarian. [Because Book Wizard is not a real title... yet!] I am currently serving as the Chairperson of the Mississippi Association of School Librarians.

I was born and raised in Harrisville, MS and attended West Union Attendance Center, now Simpson Central.

I have three awesome children, Jessica, Randy, and Samantha and the best son-in-law in the world, Blake. When I'm not in the library, I enjoy sewing, drawing, painting, and riding my horse.

I earned my BA from Belhaven University, my MS from Alcorn State University, and my Ed.S from William Carey University. I have taught school as a Librarian and as an English Teacher (5th-11th). I love to read and it is my belief that no one really hates to read, they just haven’t met the right book.
