📌Reminder: There will be no school for students on Monday, February 16 (Presidents' Day/Staff Development Day). Students will return to school on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

🚨Weather Update: SCSD Schools and Offices Closed Monday, January 26🚨

All Simpson County School District schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to winter weather, extremely low temperatures, and unsafe travel conditions. The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority. 

The district will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates regarding school operations for Tuesday, January 27, 2026, through official communication channels including text messages, the SCSD mobile app, SCSD social media pages, and the district website at www.simpson.k12.ms.us.

Reminder: All SCSD schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The reading fair will be on January 13, 2025.
