Student is holding up a cup with a liquid and is examining it for their lesson on mixtures and solutions.

Students in Mrs. Tiffany Aldridge's 5th grade science class at Simpson Central recently participated in a hands-on lab focused on mixtures and solutions.

During the lesson, students explored physical properties and learned how materials can be classified as mixtures or solutions. They also experimented with tools and methods used to separate different substances.

Fifth grader Aiden Martin shared that learning how to separate mixtures was his favorite part of the activity, describing the project as both fun and educational.
